The company

It started at Dusty Vinyl.

The original Blackberry Jam event was a Saturday afternoon party at Dusty Vinyl Bar on Pico Blvd: 90s R&B, early 2000s hip hop, a live emcee, and a room full of people who knew every word. That same summer the crew took it outside for the JAMily Reunion, a picnic at Arcadia County Park with a live DJ, BBQ, and games on the grass. The next one is Pajammy Jam, a Christmas pajama party in Downtown LA on December 12.

The model stays the same as it grows: pick a theme people actually want to dress for, book a room that fits it, play the music the crowd grew up on, and run the whole night themselves. More story lands here as the company writes it.

How a Jam runs

Four things, every time.

Theme

A real one. Pajamas, a reunion picnic, a vinyl era. The theme decides the room, the flyer, and the dress code.

Music

The point of the night. A DJ or an emcee who knows the catalog the crowd came for.

Food + extras

Food on site, games out, and the small stuff handled, so the night never stalls.
